Another? Wine Bar, Nottingham
A fabulous new wine bar in Nottingham that's an example of an interior design scheme that blends vintage, upcycled and modern furniture in a heritage venue to create a unique style that exudes understated class.
Here’s a question, how do you seat 56 covers in relaxed, understated style if you only have 900ft2 to play with? The answer can be found by exploring inside Another? Wine Bar in Nottingham and put simply, it involves opening a bar that doesn’t actually have a bar.
Another? has the amazing USP that customers charge up a card and then help themselves to quality wine from a dispensing area until they think they’ve had enough wine. This laissez-faire service ethic has proved a massive hit and transformed what was a run-down nail bar and offices into one of the city’s most sought out venues.
Owner Sam Benjamin describes it’s old look as ‘white woodchip’ before he spent 4 intensive weeks working with designers Concorde BGW to produce a venue that blends a warm traditional feel with contemporary style and cutting edge technology.
Revivalist provided vintage and contemporary furniture with bric-a-brac and a genuine offer to help test the concept if we were needed. Sam just took the furniture and said this,
"Wine is a product with centuries of rustic heritage and we wanted to combine that history with the most up to date serving methods."
"We needed an interior that reflected those ideas and the furniture and decorative style from Revivalist certainly achieves that goal. We involved ourselves fully from the start, chose everything from images and chats over the phone and really only changed one or two lights from the suggestions we were given."
"We’re extremely pleased with the results and will be working with everyone again to develop the terrace and garden in time for summer"
